HYPRO™ optimizes thermosetting materials |
|
To improve toughness and flexibility of resin formulations, HYPRO™ RLP by CVC Thermoset Specialties, an Emerald Performance Materials Company LLC (former Noveon, BF Goodrich), USA, are very commonly used. This well-established product group is distributed exclusively by nanoresins in Germany. HYPRO™ RLP reactive liquid polymers are successfully used to optimize epoxy resins, vinyl ester resins, unsaturated polyester resins, phenolic resins, acrylates and polyurethanes. Depending on the application, further property improvements can be achieved using HYPRO™, e.g. adhesive strength and resistance to thermal shock. HYPRO™ RLP products are butadiene homopolymers (2000 series) respectively butadiene-acrylonitrile copolymers (1300 series) with carboxy end groups. The products with acid functionality are called CTB respectively CTBN (carboxyl terminated butadiene nitrile polymer). By modifying the end groups amine terminated (ATBN), vinyl terminated (VTBN) and epoxy terminated (ETBN) HYPRO™ grades are synthesized.
In addition to the types listed above, other HYPRO™ RLP products made by CVC Thermoset Specialties LLC, USA are possible. Outside Europe please contact Emerald Performance Materials LLC, USA. Due to their outstanding performance, HYPRO™ RLP products can be used in a large spectrum of applications: |
