nanoresins' product group Albidur® encompasses epoxy resins that are modified with reactive silicone elastomers. Albidur® makes it possible to incorporate the unique properties of silicone polymers into an epoxy resin matrix. In addition to higher fracture-resistance over a wide range of temperatures, Albidur® also offers significantly better electric characteristics and improved properties at low temperatures, combined with much higher resistance to thermal shock. The glass transition temperature, heat-resistance and chemical durability of the base resin remain unchanged, and ageing properties are actually improved in some cases. The silicone-modified resins in the Albidur® product group can usually be combined with all common resins and hardening agents. The Albidur® product group also includes grades based on polyester und polyether polyols and on unsaturated polyester and vinyl ester resins. We offer concentrates for formulators and end users that are precisely tailored to specific applications. The focus here is on the following applications: |
